Join me for a Month Long Workshop where we explore creating an expressive portrait in oil!
The theme is LOVE. In this workshop we will focus on how we can incorporate this theme into our work - we will focus this month on learning to tell our story and develop our unique style. We will learn to include our story onto our canvas. Also in this month we will add hands to our portrait. We will follow my four phases of my creative process from start to finish. I will be using oil in my lesson but will provide information if you are interested in using acrylic.

It’s my Birthday Month!!! We will incorporate the celebration of birth and renewal. I will use a reference photo that incorporates this theme - focusing on a more figurative pose.

Theme - Growth
Spring is coming soon! In this month we will incorporate a floral motive - maybe a crown or floral garment to cloth our portrait - finding interesting floral patterns to add to our composition.

This month we will challenge ourselves to paint a portrait within an inside environment. In a bedroom, at the kitchen table.

Summer is here! Let’s put our portrait outside at the beach or your favorite summer hangout.
