Some people are simply meant to be painted. Fae is one of them. Fae Finding Her Space grew out of my deep admiration for this woman, her voice, her soul, her unmistakable way of moving through the world. She is dynamic and luminous and deeply herself, and I wanted to capture that on canvas before it could fade. This portrait is part of my ongoing work to tell the stories of the people who inspire me most and Fae's story is one I felt a quiet urgency to hold onto.
